Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. While the location was great for those looking to enjoy Henley, the room, advertised as a triple, was clearly more fit for employees than paying customers. The heat in the room was uncomfortable, and the bathroom needed some attention. Although the service was friendly, there were limitations in the dining options and meal availability after 6 pm.
The hotel provided exactly what I wanted with clean, quiet, and comfy rooms. The Nespresso coffee machine was a delightful touch, and the breakfast was delicious. However, the location within the 'Employee Training Center' felt more suited for employees than guests, despite the lovely amenities.
The hotel is located in a quiet, leafy area with very friendly staff, but the rooms were in need of refurbishment and not really soundproof, with blasting radiators that disturbed me due to the presence of chauvinist male golfers. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, and the dining experience was lovely with a good choice of food. However, the Employee Training Center setup of shared gardens and kitchen was not ideal for paying customers, and the early closure at 6 pm was disappointing.
